PC shops in durban

Good information, thank you guys, all this will come handy when i will upgrade my PC :)

Do Rectron, Axiz etc. sell to the public? Last time I checked they only sold to retailers...

Forget the "etc." those are the only two in the list that don't.

Well, you can include Nimz's too.

I believe the OP's request was for PC shops, not distributors.

I don't know why you say avoid them at all costs. But the PC Zone in Pinecrest (Pinetown) has pretty good prices on components. Just let them see that you actually know what you are talking about. But that goes with any pc shop i suppose.

There is also a PC Zone in Musgrave now.
But I think the reason to avoid them is their bad....non-existent rather return service and rude staff.

Least thats why I try and avoid them :/

Is it in the Musgrave center? I like there prices, thats it. With that said, i don't like their "know it all" attitude and the fact that they don't stock AMD... But hey when it comes to Hard drives, ram and especially monitors, they are cheap!

what about Sahara.. their prices aint bad. their service can sometimes be abit a**l retentive but their ok i think.

PC shops mate, not suppliers.
Otherwise then we can go esquire, rectron, pinnicle and a whole long list of other places that the OP might not have an account with to buy from directly :)

But a big +1 on sahara being a**l retentive :P
