PC to PC wireless?

can anyone tell me how to quickly set up a connection between two pc's wirelessly, no router or ap?

Depends on your wireless cards in the pcs, some supports ap mode. Then just put the one in ap mode and connect with other pc to it.

You can set up an ad hoc network between the 2. In Vista you just go set up a network then set up an ad hoc network, not sure about xp.
