PC to power a 42" LCD

Howzit guys

I just need some thoughts on a new pc-build. We recently bought a Sony Bravia HD 42" LCD for the office and now the thing is stationed in a boardroom, where it's going to be used for presentations ect.

So now I need a pc that can handle this 42" LCD. Thus far I assumed that the processor and RAM won't be that important. It's obviously the GPU that's my main concern.
So any motherboard that supports SLI, 4GB (or even 2GB) of RAM, dual core CPU ect.
But what graphics setup would you guys recommend?

Onboard graphics will do. I hook my lappy to our 50" at home and it looks ok. I don't game on that setup though
 
You'll need a GFX card that (ideally) has DVI or HDMI output and that can handle 1920 x 1080 resolution. So, pretty much any GFX card out there at the moment.
 
Get a Zotac geforce 9600gt eco.
Its cheap[r1049], its green,its power efficient and quite powerful.
Don't skimp on office technology.Imagine a slow laggy setup that would humiliate you in front of very important clients.
Since its on a 42inch display at work wouldnt you love to at least do a little gaming on the rig?[after hours,of course!]
 
If you still planning on getting a Graphics card of some kind I would recommend getting an ATI card since you can stream your sound and video through 1 HD cable.

If you are just planning on using it for video and not sound then on board will work.

I have the same TV and am using an MSI Radeon HD4350 to stream movies and series from a PC to the tv.
