Lots. Have you got effectively unlimited funds? Because quite a lot of that stuff is overkill IMO.

I dont upgrade often (maybe once every 24- 36 months) but when i do i like to do it as up to date as possible. Spend some more now but it lasts me longer?

Rather get the P182. I heard that the door on the P180 warps.

Um... Q6600 and DDR3 RAM? WTF man? That's complete opposite. I'd rather use DDR2 RAM and upgrade to the Q9450 if you want to spend that kind of money. The Q9450 and DDR2 1066/1200 will give you better performance than the Q6600 and DDR3 RAM (@WKJ?:Beanie, what's your opinion?)

The performance increase between DDR2 and DDR3 atm is not really worthy of the extra cash you will be spending.

Yip. DDR3 RAM is not the way to go right now but the extra punch from that Q9450 will be considerable

If you want to draw my attention to a thread, PM it to me (I don't visit threads that often nowadays) :)

In my opinion you should stick to DDR2 RAM until DDR3's prices have dropped to a justifiable level and buy a nice beefy CPU in the meantime (the Q9450 will be one of your best alternatives).

Or don't spend that much, because Nehalem is coming out fairly soon, so whatever CPU you buy will then be far from best...
