there is office for ox s. its called MacOffice from microsoft i believe.
LOL.. no.. if he asked about graphic work, movie making, or something like that were rendering was required. I'd suggest the Mac.and the fire is once again ignited....

And it is awfull.....when snow leopard comes out with exchange support, i think open office is going to sink office for mac...
Exchange sucks.
because its terribly slow. we use exchange and outlook ****s its pants before starting up and then only gets going, and no its not our infrastructure as it runs on amply speced hardware.
