PC Zone Pinetown?

Also just wondering do you think the Acer 19" lcd @ R1399 is a good buy?

This is from experience... LG and Samusung screens make better moniters with better supprot than Acer... Its the opposite for notebooks

So Acer<LG<Samsung for monitors?

I would definatly pay R500 more for the 9800GT

Good prices... BUT service and returns are a real hassle...

Who ever assembled a pc that i bought from them clearly shouldn't be assembling pc's.. USB headers and Front Panel audio plugged in incorrectly.

Yes they are cheap but so are the boards they use apart from the intel desktop boards.

For off the shelf components..Price wise, they are hard to beat.

That is correct...
I just know that the 9600GT is on par with and a bit worse than the 8800GT..
Unfortunately since then I havn't been keeping up, sorry I cant give my input on GFX card :(

But ACER comes with 3 year fetch and repair warranty unlike LG and SAMSUNG which have 1 year :D

Mitabyte in Durban seem to be trying to match some of the PCZone specials, with no limits on quantities, plus they allow customizing of systems.

They have a Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz with the G31 chipset m/b, 1 gb ram, 250gb h/d etc for R3099.
The Dual core 2.0 is R1799, while the Core 2 Duo 2.5 is R2299.

The 2GB micro Sd cards are R47.

Those prices are cool...

About the 2Gb Micro SD, what brand is it? The picture appears to indicate so. Also what price is the 4Gb? I know the 1 and 2 are being put on special due to demand for larger capacities now.
