PCI-e Power Adaptor

I'm having a bit of a dilemma - I have bought a new graphics card (Chaintech 6800GS PCI-e) and a power supply (AOpen) [and the rest of the computer but that's not the point...]

The thing is, the graphics card has a little 6-pin power connector on it, but my power supply doesn't have a plug for it. So, I need an adaptor from 4-pin molex to 6-pin PCI-e (like this)


Does anyone know where I can get one in Cape Town, preferably southern suburbs? I've tried a couple of places but have had no luck...

You can try Simple Network Tech on 021-4486404. They are just up from the Salt River circle. I have used them in the past to source hard to find molex cables.

Sorry bud wouldn't know, thought u got them either with the graphics card or already a part of the power supply.

I have 2 with my Psu. and got the converter aswell with my GFX card.

Yeah likewise. I got 2 with my PSU, and I got one converter each with my gfx cards.

Hehe, guess you tried all the Cape Town suppliers, just like me - no one seems to have the thing. May have to swap the PSU for one with a connector already on it!
