Ordered inkjet cartridges on Sunday, all showing in stock. Now 5 days later, no delivery, no estimated time of delivery, they don't respond to mails and their phone just plays a message that they're working remotely .... anyone else having issues with this lot?

That doesn't make me feel good. Ordered a router 3 days ago, and also no update on site, or reply to my emails or online questions ...

The instock items are usually with the supplier.
So they do something similar to drop shipping.

The few items I've ordered from them had arrived within the time frames although this was during lockdown. One order was going to take too long so I requested a refund which they did for me in a timely manner so they are legit, I think they are just a bit under staffed.

When did you email them? I believe they have an walk-in office in JHB if you are close enough and that way inclined

Can confirm, they are a legit store, however yes they dont answer emails and phone calls.

Last time I dealt with them was 2 years ago.

I'm in CPT, so walk in won't be an option. I'm willing to wait, I suppose I'm just used to Takealot shipping the next day or 2 days after the order at the most.

I’ve got an eye on their CPU, PSU and Mobo that are cheaper than just about anywhere else (with two items having free delivery) but so hesitant to deal with them for a significant amount of cash since they also haven’t responded to my stock enquiry message and that an AMD mobo is listed under their Intel Mobo section. I don’t know if I should just pay a bit more from another supplier for a bit of peace of mind.

They are legit but they don't answer emails and the parcel just arrives without even a notice that it has been shipped.

Bought a Fanvil voip desk phone. Just got an email saying order completed when I bought it. 6 days later someone hooted at the gate and it was Fastway delivering the parcel. So yeah they are legit and shipped relatively fast but zero communication or tracking available it seems.

I understand having your staff working remotely for safety currently, but then you should provide a mobile number for customers to get hold of you.

Also, 48 hrs is the maximum delivery time I would expect in SA, we're not a backward country and there are lots of courier companies available.

I did ask for refund yesterday and have had no response ...

Deal with them at your peril!!! ...

Personally, unless it is urgent, I can wait as long as the correct product is delivered in the condition advertised upon purchase (brand new = perfect condition) and with communication through the delivery process. If it takes, lets say, two weeks I'd be absolutely fine with this as long as I'm kept informed of the lead time beforehand and throughout.

It isn't unreasonable to wait for products depending on where they are sourced from. It *is* however most certainly unreasonable to not get any response to communication sent by you from an entity that you are purchasing from regarding your purchase (or any other communication sent by you for that matter).

My components that I ordered came in on time and they were running a special making it cheaper than anywhere else. There was a lack of communication and a tremendous delay between me requesting something and someone in charge getting back to me.

PCLinkshop has hired someone to handle their PR and any service issues. Send your emails to [email protected] and make sure you reference your order number in the subject line.

I must say I'm highly disappointed with PCLink Shop's service.
I've tried numerous times trying to contact them via the Website ( they have a communication section and messages section ) with zero response.

Emailing them also fell on deaf ears and trying to phone them just goes to a pre-recorded message.

It's been nearly a week now, and I don't think I'm unreasonable to expect it to be delivered by now ( Especially because the item is still listed as in stock )

I really don't hope I've been scammed out of R3.5k. This has been the worst online shopping experience I've had in South Africa so far.

this was me as well not long ago..:thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

I had a look at their website and it is a crock of schit. If they are a legitimate trading entity then they must reallocate funds for a proper front facing e-commerce site.

I am not going into the details.

I gave up waiting for my order or a reply too my emails so took a drive there. Very infuriating, not even a hint of an apology.

I ordered from them because the site said they had stock of the item and JHB delivery is 1 to 3 days, if they go over that an update would be nice or answering my emails would be good too.

While I did get my item, I learnt my lesson, it was my first and last order from these guys.
