Hi guys,

I hope you're all doing well. What I need is free / open source software that can add comments / text to an already saved .pdf file.

So if I have let's say a 1-page CV in .pdf , I'm looking for a program where I can edit the document as I choose / wish.

P.S. I only want to ADD to the document, not REMOVE any data / text / images.

Can someone perhaps help me?

Thank you

Right click on the .pdf and select Open With and choose Word (if a new enough version of Word is installed) and you'll be able to edit it and save it as a .pdf again.

Surely the actual PDF document is opened in WORD as an inserted picture? Otherwise what would the need for the 'paid for version' of Adobee PDF be?

Only if it's a scanned document or similar (maybe some PDF printing software too). A office type document saved as a PDF should work fine. Formatting is sometimes an issue. Paid for has its uses and probably no issues with formatting.
