PDF to excel converter

Why don't you just select the text in Acrobat Reader and then copy+paste it into an excel spreadsheet?

Have a look at the options "select text" and "select image" in Acrobat Reader.

Why dont you just change your app to convert it to xsl also, give the user some choices. I wrote a reporting tool for my company while back with 9 output types. Always keep the client happy i say.

If u have a pdf with combos of tables and text (like the kind u get from StatsSA), it's gonna take forever.
You're going to have to proofread it, no matter what method u use.
