Please don't feed it. It knows it is talking schit.

Why do you people need to come into every thread regarding something interesting being discovered that has anything remotely to do with evolution and troll?... there is something wrong with you.

Why all this fighting again? I thought we could all just get together and laugh at "penis worms" :( I regret starting this thread.

I'm not trolling. :(

I'm just trying to get to grips with evolutionary thought.

So I'm related to worms in some way. Of course silly me.

Ah yes, the sad projection of religious folk who hold to the notion of creatio ex nihilo, or creation out of nothing; a concept for which there is neither precedent nor explanation. Don't project just because you can't accept 'we don't quite know' as the honest answer it is.

Also, as I'm sure has been pointed out to you many times, evolution of life after its emergence has sweet f.a. to do with the origin of the Universe. But then you know that... it's just that you don't have any new tricks, isn't it.

abandallhope, be.plato and their buddies are not going to stop trolling anything even remotely to do with evolution any time soon.

I'm starting to think they should just be reported, put on ignore and we should all move on. They ruin every thread of this nature that occurs in this section and it is getting really old.

Did you bother to go and do you own research on the evolution of the eye like I told you to in the last thread where you said you wanted to get to grips with evolutionary theories? No?... then stop trolling.

Besides that post clearly quoted someone else. Granted he was also trolling so I know it must be confusing for you. Heck maybe it is also you as a sock puppet. I don't care you are being reported either way.

The article is pretty cool. Seems that when it comes to protostomes and deuterostomes there is plenty of room for refinement of that naming convention and perhaps the convention needs to be discarded entirely. One wonders how accurate other development based naming conventions are...

Interesting article, it helps to point out how closely related we really are and how "common" genes are shared.

This family tree before the fascinating discovery about penis worms:

Some of our relatives are somewhat creepy.

I love the echinodermata. Definitely one of my all time favourite phylum.

They have both asexual and sexual reproduction, regeneration, radial symmetry as opposed to our bilateral symmetry, that zany mesodermal skeleton, not to mention that echinoderm means "spiny skin"... the list of interesting stuff about those buggers just goes on and on. Fascinating creatures.

My favourites are the crustaceans from the group of arthropods. It’s amazing how they moult their exoskeleton and just grow a new one as they mature. The shrimp and prawns’ attraction to light is interesting.

Notwithstanding the curiosity over these fine creatures, I also find that some, like crayfish, crabs, shrimp and prawns are quite delicious.

Coming to grips with Evolutionary theory is a long process I fear. Please be patient with me.

I would like to know what came between the penis worm and a person. Probably a long chain of creatures.

You didn't answer my question:
Did you bother to go and do you own research on the evolution of the eye like I told you to in the last thread where you said you wanted to get to grips with evolutionary theories?

If your answer is "no" then yes I agree it is going to be a very long process. Infinite would be my guess.
