Pepkor quietly shuts down Everyshop

I never used them. They weren't exactly game-changing. Convenience is already solved; it is price disruption that is needed.
exactly, Selling the same things at the same or similar prices gives people no reason to change.

You either need to be cheaper, or sell better products. Take laptops for example.

If the same Dell Inspiron POS laptop with only 8GB of RAM is R7999 on Takealot and R7999 on Everyshop, then there is no reason for people to buy from Everyshop. But if they are selling the 16GB version that Takealot does not even stock at R7999, then you have a possible sale. Or better yet, sell the much more durable Latitude 16GB version at R8999 and informed buyers will flock to your store and spread the word to the general public.

clicked on their website now, and I am only getting a spinning wheel.

WHAT DID YOU DO?!?
I dont see them lasting much longer. They dont get recommended on Google searches.

They messed up my last order so bad that I haven't ordered anything from them again in ages (2022 to be exact).

Colossal incompetence.

I ordered a couple of items 4 years ago. They hadn't worked out how to manage fulfilment and communication for multi part orders. You'd consider this basic stuff but it isn't really possible under BEE.

Google stopped recommending all stores that don't do adwords for product listings. They took away the shopping tab entirely.
