A buddy I recently met showed me this...they do performance tests on various cars, except top speed, as that's a bit hectic.

Check it out, done with very accurate testing software, Beltronics Vector FX2Accelerometer...

What about altitude and weather conditions?

Figures look fairly accurate.

I'm pretty much 1 second off the 156 2.5 V6 24 valve all the way, which seems a little too much though. But driver error, different cars etc - make sense

Using my brother Gtech, we got a 9.2km/h to 100km/h, a 16.7 1/4 mile at 139km/h on my stock RunX RSI.

He got a 8.3 sec to 100km/h, a 15.88 1/4 mile at 138km/h on his 156 with air filter.

Checking the specs of the Alfa, we should be very close - too close to call actually. I'd guess closer than those tested figures show. BUT with the difference in driver, individual car and even the road/weather conditions, those figures look fairly realistic.

My brother and this guy were actually going to meet and test the accuracy of each of their equipment ; but haven't as yet. He owns an Alfa, right?

N20 owns that Alfa, there's another dude with a GTV 3.0 he' s also busy with these kindsa things.

That's it?

Not going to tell me it's impossible for stock 1.8 RunX to run anywhere near to an Alfa? ;)

LOL not allowed to , did you not read my 1st written warning...3 strikes dude!;)

Aw. Was looking forward to fighting with you :/

Oh well ... ;)

Don't tempt me dude (gets out Alfa handbook: HOW TO DEFEND YOUR BRAND)

You do notice that the modded 156 2.5V 24v actually has a slower exit speed than the stock RunX? ;)

So that's a 40% larger engine, with 8 more valves and 200nm more torque .... where does it ago?

*stir*

*falls victim* the 156 V6 is not modded! only Intake lol and 20kg 18" wheels!

Dude here has a 1.6 Vtec...we skeerd him on a 800-900m stretch of road...he wanted to go robot to robot...what a Stooge!

You race against Vtecs?

I'm wouldn't even waste my time :/

Yep we raced the Vtec...it screamed as always...but killed us till about 300m then ze v6 was on par...

I do believe a 156 V6 with exhaust, intake and chip will kill off a Vtec...imho

Careful, dude:

and

So the 156 has 380Nm of torque? What kind of "air filter" does he have?

Ah the first was just a typo ... :P

I actually couldn't be bothered to check the reall torque, as I was messing with Alfa more than anything :)

Not sure about the filter (on a phone now), but its on the site he pasted.

I think its a BMC filter...lol the 156 will truly kill your RunX mate...call up these guys they like to dice...and plus we know...your Run(Walk)X is NOT REALLY 140 odd KW!!! LMAO

Which is even more sad, that a flawed and underpowered car runs with a 156 ... and has a higher exit speed after 1/4 mile :/
