Persistent disconnects in Cape Town

Anybody else experiencing constant dropped (HSDPA) connections in Cape Town northern suburbs? Been happening for the last 3 days. Connection doesn't hold for longer than about half an hour (at the most). I'm at the top of Edgemead.

Anybody else experiencing constant dropped (HSDPA) connections in Cape Town northern suburbs? Been happening for the last 3 days. Connection doesn't hold for longer than about half an hour (at the most). I'm at the top of Edgemead.

I just looked at my uptime timer and I've been up 39 hours now on HSDPA in Plattekloof. Using an E220 on a longer USB cable.

Maybe something in your area? Won't you give 155 a call?

Called 155, they suggested that it may be a driver related issue, as well as that I should switch to 3G only to determine whether its a HSDPA or GPRS problem.
