From your purchase to delivery, how long did the whole thing take? They brought me a voucher that I had to go to a website to reimburse, then a third party will contact me. This was for the 65U7QF for R9999 on the vodabucks
They did phone, I ordered on the Tuesday to delivery the next Monday. From your purchase to delivery, how long did the whole thing take?
Did they phone you? I'm just a bit weary about the phone call, because I don't generally answer the marketing spam calls.
Thanks. Eish. So now I need to answer strange numbered calls till I get the TV.They did phone, I ordered on the Tuesday to delivery the next Monday.
Also bought the 65" U7QF from Vodacom. Took a while to order because their app is crap and wouldn't load, finally managed to buy it at 11pm on Sunday. Voucher was delivered this morning (outlying area), I redeemed the code, and Digital Planet phoned me within an hour. Delivery is scheduled for Friday. From your purchase to delivery, how long did the whole thing take?

You would yes need an hdmi 2 cable. I can't comment on the sound bar, but strangely enough the sound from the TV isn't too bad. Also bought the 65" U7QF from Vodacom. I am upgrading from a 10 year old 42" Sinotec which is slowly dying. So I hope to be amazed by this TV. I am using a Mibox (original) connected to the TV. Is it worth using the Vidaa system on the Hisense? We only watch Plex, Netflix, DSTV Now and Youtube.
What else do I need, I assume an HDMI 2.0 cable for best display? Looking at getting a soundbar as well later on to replace the Bluray player and speakers. Is the Hisense 2.1 any good. It is a large room so it needs to have high volume.

Yes, the local RAM courier phoned me this morning to check if I was home. This was from an 066 number. Digital planet phoned from a normal 011 JHB number.Did you receive a call for the voucher to be delivered? If so, do you remember what the phone number was?
Do they open the TV box to show you that it is in good condition? Or is that part a lucky packet once you yourself unbox it?Yes, the local RAM courier phoned me this morning to check if I was home. This was from an 066 number. Digital planet phoned from a normal 011 JHB number.

That part I didn't do, the thing is really, really packed an wrapped in tape and stuff.Switch it on as well?
Mine is supposed to be delivered between tomorrow and Tuesday only. On the phone they said to open the box with the courier to check for physical damage. And then you must notify them as soon as possible of damage thereafter.Do they open the TV box to show you that it is in good condition? Or is that part a lucky packet once you yourself unbox it?

Depends if you want 4k and/or 120hz or if you're happy with 4k at 60 hz.@Mike Hoxbig this TV for 10k on voda store (65" u7qf) can you use it on an Xbox series X ...will you get the full gaming experience

That's gonna cost a lot more, also 60fps is pretty goodso as far as im aware you need a TV with the 120fps to get the proper gaming experience
