[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

yeah im going to rather keep the tv with the light bleed if this is the case cause i cant replace the tv for R7000
According to CPA you have the options of replacement, refund or repair

But if say they cant replace(discontinued) or repair(no spares) then there's not much you can do other than accept their refund. Sam might have better luck now because his model is still current.

By replace it could be one of equivalent value to what it was. I had that happen with a Sinotec from Game back in the day.
My original gave issues after 1 year, the newer model had already replaced mine. I got the newer model as a replacement.

I am staying at an Airbnb apartment with a Hisense tv. Have been using the tv for 5 days now, an I must say, if you going to use this tv without a dedicated tv box for streaming, give these tv's a miss. The experience has been terrible.

UI is laggy (you click down and have to wait several seconds before the tv responds), tv hangs often, loses connectivity all the time.

Go buy a Korean or japanese tv.

Not my experience? Might be network issue?

This fading ink story is annoying because it’s not the customers fault that the store uses cheap paper/ink to print the receipt. The fact that you do have the receipt but it is faded means that Game can have no excuses in honouring this warranty if Hisense refuses to based on the receipt being unreadable. You must have some rights here. Don’t let them off the hook.
Got the 'receipt' from Game today. Some generic receipt with the transaction date, time, price, model number and barcode. Sent it to Ruben at Hisense via whatsapp as he requested on tuesday when I took the tv to them. He read it, but no response after that. Tried phoning him on the cell number he gave me, as well as the landline of the shop. Gets hung up everytime, or line busy. Will try again on Tuesday.

Vidaa is definitely trash, I don’t think anyone has denied that, media player is definitely a must.

Vidaa 5 is better than the previous versions. You can actually use the in built apps. Doesn’t really lag.
But they still haven’t got the CEC right. Can’t control the TV or Soundbar volume with the Apple TV remote. Works like a bomb on the Samsung and LG.

Ok so that’s good news on the receipt at least. Not so good news on the Hisense side. Hopefully Tuesday they will feel like working. Good luck!

Depends on the model, I've got 2 without a TV box and the ui is fine, but both were mid to top tier not entry level. I've played with entry level Samsung's and they were laggy as well.

Once again might be a model thing, as I've used CEC for the N5000 to control my Pioneer and JBL and used it on my U7QF. In fact never use remote for the soundbar.

Likewise. The interface on my Q8600 is pretty snappy compared to my Sammy in the bedroom.

The only fault I can find is the inability for the TV to buffer high bitrate/rez content over my LAN via the built in service

I've not managed to get buffering working at all :(

Hi guys,

I am considering the 50A6G vs Samsung TU7100.

Any direction? does the A6G have a VA panel? there is also the 50a7200f.

Im struggling to decide between the 3. Just want the best 4k picture quality of the lot.

Not so sure of Hisense's reliability.

I used to have a 50TU700 which was decent.

I bought the Hisense 65U8G television. All streaming apps are working perfectly except DSTV app.

It stutters every 3 - 5 sec and losses sound for 2 sec every 10 sec on live streaming of channels, Catchup working perfect. Tested app on androidbox and no such problems. I have 100mb fibre, so internet connection is very stable and fast, confirm with speedtest on tv.

Anybody else have similar problems on the Vidaa system?
