[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Lmao yeah I watched that on my computing monitor and I was like... his legs are moving really slowly man. Don't we a more worthy test video? @epah
I wish I had the energy to create a video to show how bad it is on my hisense. This Toshiba passed with flying colours. I also suggested that video Because it shows the most blur on my tv, and it is the only one that came to mind.

I don’t watch sport so I don’t have any test videos on that.

Dude, don't misunderstand I'm very greatful for the info, wouldn't have considered it otherwise. I was just saying there isn't a lot to go by regarding personal experience.
I did go have a look at makro earlier, it's a lot more bulkier than I thought but looks good. Couldn't really judge with the demo video playing. Also, it's not solely my decision and my better half was linking the 65" q60b and 65" u7g they don't have any u8g's nor any new h-series So I've got some persuading to do...
They are bulky due to the Full array lights at the back and “integrated soundbar” edgelit are slimmer. Whatever you do please don’t even consider the q60, it is a terrible and overpriced tv.

That is good, on my hisense that scene is a shiit show. I reckon the Toshiba is the budget tv of the year here.
I'm more impressed with the camera on the phone :) my p30 pro when doing videos from the TV sucks.
I'm also not sure what is meant by legs disappear? I watch on a 2018 58n5000 and it looks fine.

It's a iPhone 12 Pro camera. Actually a bit dirty after the infant's dirty fingers.

I meant the legs become a bit distorted from the blur. It became a bit better after one of the software updates but it definitely is still there. Looking at his video the tv performs way better than mine does.

I honestly cannot remember. I remember seeing it displayed on the floor but cannot remember the price. You will have to call them. I know Hirsch's is selling the 55U6H + 2.1 Soundbar for R10 999 on sale. That's even cheaper that the U6G.
Thanks.
So I'm in a bit of a conundrum.
My wife wants a 65inch and at makro the only decent 65"qled tvs @ or below 15k was samsung q60b(looked OK, didn't see it in normal viewing conditions) and the hisense U7G if the price is going down to R12999 this weekend. Also if the 65U6H is less that 15k I'll consider it as well. Toshiba is 16999 so it's a no go. Out of those three which one will be the best also are there other options anyone knows of.

Thanks.

Not sure where you reside but Hirsch's have the 65U6H on special for R14 999

Thanks.

The only one worth it there is the u7g, the Q60 and u6h are entry level so dont expect any HDR from them. I wouldn't even consider them if i were you.

Anyone know what the latest firmware is for the Hisense U8G? I am currently on M0116 and not sure if this is the latest version.

Also on M0016 and no updates available so think you're good.

BTW have you managed to get the TV to run at 120Hz from an HDMI port? Tried all the ports and all recommended setting but stuck at 60Hz.
