Box is heavier then the TV, though it's still lighter then my 65u7qf

What would you estimate the A8H weight to be, I rem reading somewhere it's around 30kg...what do you think?

This tv looks extremely tempting. I wasn’t even on the market for a tv but saw this on Takealot. I currently have a 65” Samsung Q80T and would love an Oled to replace it. I was bit disappointed to hear that it doesn’t have or support Disney plus.
But the sceptic in me is thinking there must be a catch at that price lol

25 to 30kg, the stand is freaking heavy like 10kg by itself, so minus the stand it's about 25kg. I can pick it up by myself but due to length 2 people are required to mount it.

Buy a android box, smart TVs are actually pretty dumb unless they come with Android

Ok so is it up and running? Suspension is killing me
From personal experience, LG's WebOS has been better than Android. The browser even comes with Adblocker.

they should really do somethng about the box
but if i recall my 1st 65 i threw the box away
they came with bubble wrap and alles for me
I have been using a 55UW7 as a monitor and its just too big for the distance that I am sitting at (desk is 700mm).
I think a 48" might work better, maybe even a 43".

Even those seem to big, but I mean 43 would probably be the better option, don't want to have the tennis effect

That's good to hear, at least they are being reasonable for now
.I doubt that's enforceable. I would fight tooth & nail for expecting me to keep a massive 65" box. Also, those are general terms which wouldn't necessarily apply to TVs. Here goes! And some initial thoughts before turn-on.
The TV is flipping heavy, and needs two fairly strong people to manoeuvre it around. Thankfully, my wife is a tough cookie.
The build quality is excellent, and almost on par with my LG OLEDs. The base is heavy and metal, which adds to the premium, quality feel. The top & side borders of the screen seem the same as the LGs.
It’s tricky clipping the base into the TV, and we used a couch to place the TV face-down on, in order to insert the base, get it to clip, and screw it in. I wouldn’t recommend lifting the screen onto the base in order to clip & screw it in.
The swivel feature of the base is great, and should help avoiding certain reflections.
The remote quality is well above average. A definite step up from all the other Hisense TVs I’ve fiddled with in the past (which often put me off them). There is a mixture of clicky and mushy buttons. Everything north of the wheel, and ‘Return’ and ‘Exit’ buttons, is clicky, with everything south, mushy. It is laid out well and feels good in the hand (I don’t have huge paws).
I’m not fazed about the remote, as I’ll be using an Apple TV 4K 2022 to control the TV.
It uses a standard ‘kettle’ plug power cable, unlike the LGs whose power cables are attached to them.
Thus far, at half the price of LG and Sony 65” OLEDs, I have absolutely zero complaints.

Protective plastic is still on the screen. I’m under-exposing the pics of the screen in order for them to be more accurate. Load-shedding hit at 8pm so ambient lighting has been reduced.
TV went through a few updates. VIDAA is OK... Not too bad actually. Pity it’s in FHD and not 4K. Strange how they haven’t resolved this, as it would add so much to the experience.
