[Personal Experiences] Hisense TV's

Hi All I have a 55A6100 that is about to hit the pavement as it goes to sleep by it's self more often then not and have tried resting to factory, clearing cache, Power cycling and just about everything I can find including Hisense support which might as well have been my local Mica store? Any help would be appreciated?

It's a 2019 TV is it still under warranty? Can't remember if it's 4 or 5 years now, if it's under warranty escalate to Hisense.

It is 5 year but Hisense will do nothing without proof of purchase and we can find the POP anywhere?
Concidered taking it back to Pick'nPay where we bought it but not sure if the same would trip us up?

have the same one coming; However I made the mistake of buying from FirstShop ( anybody reading this, avoid this business!) .. endless excuses and its been 3 weeks now and nothing;
Hopefully your one arrives soon!
I've bought (admittedly smaller items) from them and never had any issues before. Their pricing is usually good too. What kind of excuses are they coming up with? Three weeks seems a bit excessive...

Did you pay with a pnp card? Might be able to get it from there

How strange, shortly after my forum post.. There's a courier at the door, the TV arrived. They did not communicate anything to me, luckily I'm working from home and happen to see them through the window.
Got some set up todo tonight.

They had a lot of "No Stock" excuses for the last two weeks.

Any comments on the U8H? How’s the haloing?
I have the 65 U8H and very happy with it, the picture quality is brilliant, especially when watching sport and when they say the TV gets very bright they mean it, in a dark room it can be a bit too bright on max settings. I found it takes a while to get the right picture settings and I do find myself fiddling with the settings sometimes depending on the content being played.

The haloing or blooming is noticeable in certain scenes but not so much that it effects the viewing experience (well at least from my perspective). I find it mainly is a problem with menus and logos (like when loading Netflix) which are only up for a short while anyway.

Yeah I noticed that the bloom was quite noticeable when a logo was on screen. Captured this at Makro from a display unit:

Certainly tempted though since the price is way lower than the Samsung mini-LEDs lol

Any comments on the sound quality? The salesman mentioned that there’s a built-in soundbar?

It is great value for the price. In terms of TV sound it does have a built in sub, front firing speakers and two speakers on the top so certainly better than standard LCD tv setup but to be honest I can't actually comment too much on the quality as I always have my surround sound on.

Mine doesn’t have that. Then again, I don’t run it on shop mode.

The sound is very good for a TV. Good range. Yes, it has a sub. I use my Samsung Sound+ sound bar though.

Yours doesnt have that because it is OLED... LCD on the other hand you have to deal with this, This is why no one Should be buying LCD in 2023.
