Personal Hotspot Gone?

Hey Guys.

Anyone else on Vodacom and fine the personal hotspot option is now gone.

Tapping the “Setup personal hotspot” button now tells me.

“To enable personal hotspot on this account. Please contact Vodacom”

Wtf. Never had this. Running iOS 18 RC. Been on the Betas since June.

This is new.

Did you take any specific packages or deals? Some of them especially if they’re made for mobile data only will disable hotspot capability.

Yup this would be controlled at SIM level so not much you can do about it.

Nothing. No changes besides iOS version

Decided to wipe the phone and reinstall iOS 18. Option is now back.
