Personal question for the men...

Thanks Killa, good site,

This caught me: it is commonest in babies born in March/April

I was born in March and I'll definitely have to see a doc sometime since I might have my other scoundrel somewhere still inside me :p

LOL well i was born in september, late bloomer i guess :D.

Cold spoon test seems to trigger some memories but eish i may have blocked them out :p

Did your mom smoke tera? There is some theory that smoking can cause it but then again they blame smoking for everything :D

Hi Men/Guys/Fellow Males :p

I was born with one testicle. It hasn't influenced my sexual life, but it was quite a psychological barrier when growing up and when I was 19 or 20 I finally asked my mother and she confessed that I was born with only one.

I have researched online and I see it won't influence my "fatherhood" capabilities, but I was wondering how many others have been born as I am?

No need to be shy. Please let me know.

Thanks,
tera
In my books that's better then being born with three and being called ET all your life :)

Seriously tho, I know of one other person born the same way and there was a bit of banter at school, but most peeps were too scared to tease the guy cos somehow that one lone gonad made up for the missing one in testosterone lol. Certainly no ill effects on his part. ROFL.

ROFL! I suspect, with EL being a small town, you might know the one I referred to in my post w1z. Always bad to name names in an online forum lol.

You can get prosthesis, kinda like a boob job. They also have them for dogs, called neuticles :D

I don't want a prosthesis, thanks anyway. I'm happy the way I am and as killadoob pointed out, my other part of my body might still be somewhere inside me.

Not to be an alarmist but after all these years that could actually be a serious cause for concern if I'm not mistaken. I suggest you go see your gp/urologist and get it checked out.

I know, I will :p

had undescended testicle. Was also fixed when I was 9 - operation. When they did the op they discovered the vas deferens was missing, so from a fatherhood point of view I was only operating "half cocked" so to speak. anyhow - I have fathered 2 beautiful kids (yes I am sure they mine :) ) so having 1 testicle should not be a problem - easier with 2 - but 1 is sufficient :)

Bernie did they remove the ball or just bring it back down?

Mine appears to be stitched to my sack, assuming yours was not removed how was it put back in place?

My looks a bit lopsided at times haha which makes sense as it does not hang because it is stitched to my sack, although not with this weather :D.

Just brought it down. Had incision at bottom of scrotum and near the base of the penis sort of where the bladder is. Nothing appears to be stitched - I dont think so - all looks normal to me.

Ya same with me, so your ball hangs like the other one?

Sometimes kids end up with a hernia and one or even both out of place.
I had a hernia when I was younger. I remember waking up from the operation and trying to get out of bed only to realise that while I could sort of move my legs they were nowhere near strong enough yet to hold my weight so I tumbled to the floor. My mother freaked out but I thought it was hilarious.

My testicles both descended fine though. I didn't realise hernias could cause testicles to not descend. Interesting. Thanks for the information. :)
