If you were staying with a parrot (an actual bird) who kept mocking you - you would presumably not be taking it personally. You'd realize the parrot probably doesn't really hate you - it's just being a silly parrot. Take this persons attitude toward you with as much salt as you'd take a parrots attitude toward you & let them be the product of their silly brain configuration without taking it so personally. Breathe and hold your space.
Thanks man. That explanation does in actual fact give me building blocks and the correct way to approach it.
I will hold my silence and let it be. It's not worth to argue over it.
Traditionally wives/GFs of old friends are jealous the fun you and said friend had before the wife/GF came on the scene.

I'm sure it's nothing personal they just don't want to hear about the good old days. They feel excluded.
We chat about things like that when we're alone though.
There still might be feelings related to our past though.
My friend is my friend. So I don't want to disrespect him by taking on his wife in an argument. It's not my duty.
Time to forget it and go on. I'm used to being alone, so it doesn't phase me.

So what is the point of this thread then?

As I said in the post you quoted.
Time to forget it and go on
I wasn't in that frame of mind when starting the thread.
I needed to know what to do in order to cope, which I received from saor, hamster and maumau.

It's not about being alone by myself.
It's knowing how to deal with the situation I find myself in.

I suffer from Bipolar disorder and I don't have a good emotional capacity.
Being a sensitive person by nature doesn't help either.
I've only got a thick skin with you lot. Which I worked very hard at to have.
