I don't think there is anything wrong with "discreet " personalised plate such as your initials and date of birth. EG FBD 0426 GP. Only close friends will know they are personalised.

Incidently In the UK I used to own KDT 10 and LOY 4, but could never find anyone with suitable names willing to buy them.

Have looked at plates.co.za but they wanna charge 3.5k for up to 7 letters/ numbers.........thats expensive.

So a four letter word like D**S will be cheaper, maybe look into that

Have looked at plates.co.za but they wanna charge 3.5k for up to 7 letters/ numbers.........thats expensive.

Are they the only place or can I get a better deal elsewhere ?
