petrol consumption

I'm not quite sure but what I do knows is, you'll use less the faster you go.
Say you're doing 120km/h and use 10l/100km, because you get there faster you'll use less fuel than say travelling at 60km/h and using 7l/100km. Simply maths - half the time taken so less fuel used.

Also you're lucky - travelling at 120km/h in a Polo, as it's a small relatively streamlined car, you'll go quicker than someone travelling 120km/h in an SUV or bakkie.

Maths Literacy, everyone. You have two cars, one traveling at 10km/h and another one traveling at 20km/h. How many cars do you have?

Go to fuelly. Com, see what the average fuel consumption for your car is, work out on Google maps what the distance is between the two points you will be driving. From its easy. This will be dependant also on how fast you drive, how many stop and go's there is, how heavy your car is loaded etc. But this should give you a rough estimate.

You forgot to add that he can use 4 spare wheels on the car. Thinner wheels means less car touching the ground which means less petrol needed. Saves quite a bit
