Petrol strike planned [hoax]

Looks like a hoax. Chevron denies this statement, and it said that it is not aware of any planned strike action.

Got this one last night:
Inside info:MAAK JULLE KARRE VOL PETROL VOOR MAANDAGoGGEND.... petrolstrike oppad.

Now what the Nuclear Energy Corporation guys have to do with petrol, I'd like explained.

Good thing my car runs on plutonium.

People that believe this BS....eish

In my defense I am not usually caught by this things, but the way it was worded and how it was sent, and who it was sent from all conspired to lower my guard and I fell for it.

I've said it before best to remain silent when thought a fool than speak out and remove all doubt.
Where is my box of friends.....

I freely admit to being taken in by it, so what more do you want? Does it make you happier and feel like a bigger person to insult me?

If that post quoted one of your posts directly or mentioned your username you would have cause for thinking it was in need of moderation, however as the post stands it is a general statement and you are being overly sensitive. Kindly refrain from sending spurious RBPs.

So I am to assume that the general atmosphere of insults, swearing and other behaviours that are generally considered unacceptable online behaviours by members of this forum are actually condoned by the moderators?

I don't even see posts as rude as this on Reddit, which is rather notorious for it's rough treatment.

And FYI that post was completely aimed at me - who else would it be referring to? Don't tell me I'm being over-sensitive. I'm fed up with the way people speak to each other on here. and regardless of whom it was specifically directed, don't tell me it is OK and acceptable for that kind of insult.

What if I called you a fool? Count down to being warned for 'insulting' a moderator .... 3. 2. 1 ... SEE DOUBLE STANDARD!

People...Fellow forumites...This is not a HOAX. Lets be Sincere about this. We just don't know when or where the next strike will be! But there will be one.

If you want to discuss this via p.m. you are welcome to do so, however I did my due diligence of looking for previous examples of where you claim to have been seriously attacked, and came across another of your posts where you over reacted and responded with "BUG OFF".

As you requested, I will not tell you that you are being overly sensitive.
