is it possible to get a credit card at FNB without moving my whole life over to them? standard banks credit card has no rewards for me. i think ebucks is a brilliant thing!
 
yes,i got a fnb cc while still at sb.fnb has a lot more banking option than sb
 
its possible but the more of your life you move over the more ebucks you will get and the more petrol or other things you will be able to buy, most people including myself, get more in ebucks than what their bank fees come to.
 
Bear in mind that it will take a year to get your average spend up to the level for the maximum EBucks petrol rewards.
 
I'd highly recommend moving over to FNB, especially if you're with Standard Bank or ABSA.

Make the switch. You won't regret it. I get about R150 worth of eBucks back every month. My banking fees on a Platinum account come out to R110. So far I've bought an iPod Shuffle 2GB (from eBucks Online Shop) and 2 x Hugo Boss perfumes (from Ascot Direct) using eBucks only. Planning next to buy an iPod Nano 8GB 6gen from Kalahari.net. I just need to wait a few more months.

I've been with sb since forever, but I decided last week I'm moving to fnb when I get time to visit a branch.
 
Moved over this month from ABSA to FNB. Their banking products are a joke and damn expensive to boot
 
I don't see any major savings moving from sb to fnb, as they both have similar pricing. However, fnb has much better rewards.
 
seems ebucks is as good as i thought. will investigate if i can apply for this CC online.

How do you guys manage to earn so much ebucks? The max I've earned in a month was something like 400 ebucks. And that's after 2.5k in petrol and 8k on cc.

Remember, your earn level will depend on your current points status. Also, they won't pay u fuel rewards for fuel that exceeds 20% of ur total card spend

We buy everything on credit card.(paid in full every month). This includes all municipal accounts. The only purchases that are not available on credit card are vehicle licences.

To get the best of the fuel rewards you have to work at it. It took me a year to get to 15%.

I think that there are different earning levels on the accounts, on Platinum you get 1% in EBucks.

My last EBucks purchase was a HP Microserver, and I am saving up for a second.

Wow okay. I'm on platinum. I just have to keep spending Lol. And stop buying data bundles with my Lil amount of ebucks that I get
