Philips Airfryer - anyone have?

Definitely a better size for a full chicken. The XL is limited to a baby 1.2KG

Chicken pieces cooks the fastest though. 20 minutes.

That's a great price. I think HiFi Corps price of R3699 was incorrect. When I went back to the link about an hour later, it was no longer on their website.

Philips XXL Airfryer review:

I've had the Checkers XL special for about 2 years and I'm sure it paid for itself a few times over. Decided to get the XXL because sometimes when making pizza the XL gets tight. As noted this is the older version with the dial knob and it isn't connected (not that I care anyway).
The pan and basket sits on a pulley that I love. The grid is removable from the basket and it'll help with cleaning. There's also another twin starfish plate at the bottom in the pan. The machine is a bit more noisy but not by much. The dial is quite nice. Sometimes with a digital dial it doesn't register you want to scroll fast whereas here you can dial it in a bit faster. There's a cord storage cutout at the back which I don't really care for.

TL;DR should you buy one?
Well if you use the oven a lot the airfryer is a no brainer. For me the patented starfish design does work. If you use one of those chinese silicon liners then food does take longer to cook. Also if you look at eg. those PNP Aim specials with a drip tray there's no way it will cook food evenly or very fast. For me I like the Philips brand and quality so I'll usually buy the Philips anyway. So then you just have to look at the XL or XXL. The XL will be fine for most since you can stack food in it but if you have the money I'd say get the XXL.

My XL is going to a family member so another oven can get retired.

This is probably the best invention this millennium with the Philips Oneblade being a very close second.

I have the XL Philips air fryer, the one where the bottom of the basket is a grid with a non stick coating. This coating is peeling off and bits of it get stuck to my food, which I doubt is healthy.
Anyone know the best replacement to get? Preferably one that does not have any of this coating on it to begin with.

Maybe try some oven cleaner first.

I’ve seen the coating dull and become less non-stick but never seen it come off entirely.
