I see the airfryer has plenty of love here - my folks got me the pasta maker as an early birthday gift - one of the best appliances ever. I love fresh pasta, but it takes time to make. With this machine, fresh pasta done and dusted in 10 minutes. Dead easy to clean too.

If you love fresh pasta - highly recommended.

Does it only make spaghetti type pastas?

Nope, depending on the extruder you fit, can make anything from sheets, to shells. It comes with 4 in the pack, spaghetti, tagliatelle, shells, penne and sheets/ravioli.

Philips locally do not stock the other discs - but easy to find online abroad. Macaroni, angel hair, you name it.

Above is the base model Viva - but you get the idea on how simple it is and the options.

Best device ever, maybe even better than our airfyer.

Price i.e. is it value for money? Kids love pasta.

See R3000 and base Viva R2000. But dunno if value for money

yeah how is fresh pasta taste compared to woolies

and the value for money is a big question cause a woolies pasta is cheap these days

so need to look at cost of making vs shop bought and how many times a month you eat pasta

Why woolies? Why not FLM?

What do you put in the pasta machine for pasta to come out?

Once you have had decent fresh pasta, dried becomes a useful convenience food in my opinion. Fresh wins hands down every time.
