Hi guys,

I am trying to source a Philips head unit, but not having any luck with sound shops or even online.

I am looking for the Philips CED370, but will settle for the CED320 or even the CED228.

If you have any connections in the sound scene and you can help, I will appreciate it!

Thanks!

Is this for your SAAB? :D

Don't other manufacturers have something similar?
Or how about a single DIN unit with popup screen?

No, this is for the landy. I can't put a popup screen because that will just get destroyed on corrugated gravel roads, so it has to be a built-in screen. I need the screen for the reverse camera, and not all units have the built-in function to override the display when the camera turns on.

the Pioneer DVH 735av looks good:

Arrrgh, after I installed the Pioneer in the landy, Soundmatch phones me to tell me they have the Philips I have been wanting all along

Anyone want to buy a brand new Pioneer DVH735av? R1800, beats retail by R300-400 :)

Naks, answholesalers' prices seems almost too good to be true. I just want to confirm that you ordered from them and everything went well?

For example: They sell JBL GTO508C 5.1/4" Splits for R749 that costs R1195 at Autostyle...

Yep, I ordered the Pioneer from then, came to R1825 incl door to door delivery. It was a brand new unit and worked 100% and good service as well. I would definitely order from them again, and AFAIK, they also have a physical store where you can go pick up the items.

So the Saab will also require an audio upgrade. The nice thing about the Saab's dash is that the audio unit is a double DIN, so I can get a touch screen that does audio, bluetooth, GPS, etc.

Thinking of the Philips CID2680, does anyone have any experience with this unit? Soundmatch can do it for R6500, whereas equivalent Alpine unit is going for R15000!

I know A&S owner very well. They are 100% legit and will probably beat any price out there.

Only time you will buy elsewhere is if A&S dont have stock.
