I know A&S owner very well. They are 100% legit and will probably beat any price out there. Only time you will buy elsewhere is if A&S dont have stock.

You have to wonder though: how do they manage to sell an Alpine unit for R10K when everyone else is selling it at R15K...

try the kenwoods they seem nice too and may be a bit cheaper than the alpines

was also wondering about A&S and decided not to buy from them a while back as the prices seemed to good and they didnt have a walk in store - thanks for the info tho

Yep, this is the one I'm looking at. I can get it for R11k locally.

The one on that site is just the head unit without the Bluetooth or GPS addons. By the time you add these, the price will be close to the one locally.

Also, the problem with importing is that these things come pre-loaded with the country's map and it's then a mission to change the mapset to a local one.
