Rather look at other mobile phones. Have you ever gone into Jet. Jet cellular have a wide-range of cheap phones Some that come with airtime Go gobii route if you like Kalahari have a big inventory over 1000 of those phones or more on hand

I've checked in stores. The best I'd probably get him is a Samsung pocket or Star. Good phones but screens are too small.

Give a phone that is better than the Gobii for sub R1499 yea I give you 499 to go over budget.
