Phoning 808

I'm wondering if anybody can tell me why the HELL MTN has such bad recordings on their voicemanagement service when u phone 808.

There are some things which sound decent... but then the other stuff are INCREDIBLY annoying and distorts TERRIBLY!!!

eg:
the "for information about mtn banking..." and the
"manage your mtnsp cellphone account online with mtnactive..."

They distorts SO much - that when u call, usually already irate about something STUPID that happened - like them overcharging u - or making a mistake on ur bill.. or dropping the network... then u're faced to listen to some incompetent guy who makes me feel like i've joined an inferior network with such crap voice quality.

Now i know it's MTN SP... but it's still mtn!!

GEEZ man... i don't phone the boss of MTN when i phone mtn... i phone a call centre... at least make my experience seem professional in some way!! not like some 3rd world country's cheap little cellular company!

anyway - i was angry - i vented... it's still a valid point tho - otherwise i wouldn't have clicked on the button to submit the thread
 
Yeah - I agree!

I recently posted that MTN directory enquiries was the best tele service I had ever used...
I think that 808 is one of the worst - o.k. they can't beat SAA's call center, but they come close.
