Man, once again some cool pics were left out ........ why do only the high end camera owners get to be finalists? I thought some of the other, more 'ordinary' pics were just as good for the moment they captured.

High end? I see a Canon Pwershot G2, iPhone, and a Panasonic FZ-38 amongst the finalists, I wont even mention all the Nikon D3xxx's.

The prizes are a Samsung tablet PC and a remote controlled helicopter :confused:

So you can attach a camera to your helicopter to take aerial shots and them use the tablet to check how many likes you get for said aerial shot!

My vote. Nice framing. Perfect Shutter Speed for the shot. Awesome concept. It looks like a palm tree.

But it was really a hard decision. The symmetry of the museum, the effort of the water drop, the emotion of the street child. That landscape could be an advert for Land Rover. And I must find that house in Langebaan next time I'm down. The backdrop looks fantastic. Well done everyone.
 
Wow, some stunning photos!! Congrats to the finalists.

I chose The Castel Sant'Angelo by MadMailMan. I think it is breathtakingly beautiful! If you look at it long enough it almost seems as if it is real and the people are walking. Very pretty photo!!!

congrats guys! fantastic looking pics! I'll have to work a bit harder on my underwater photography to make the cut next time.
