So every so often a meet up is organized by different members, I only know Shake&Bake organizes the CT ones, members just get together for a braai, drink, chat, etc...

I was wondering if a photography get together was organized would anyone go?
Its just an idea at the moment but we'd prob meet up somewhere (e.g. a nature reserve) and go out and take photos and share info/tips/techniques/etc and then we could post the images on the forum after the get together.

I'm in CT so maybe other keen members could organize for other areas around the country?

Would you go? Is it a good idea?

wow i didnt know this existed.. too bad im on the waiting list.

Maybe have a look at joining or organising a walk next weekend? http://worldwidephotowalk.com/locations

So i joined the walk and it was amazing.. the route was short but well thought out and generally liked by all. The guys were very helpful to us amateurs and the prizes were great. A special thanks to bwana for hooking us up with the link. I cant wait for more of these to happen in Durbz.

Hell yeah! I'm a member on outdoorphoto and they did a braai this weekend, but unfortunately only in Gauteng. Doesn't seem they intend doing a CT hookup. So PM me if anything comes up, I'll be there.

I would have liked to have gone on one but had too much on this weekend. The World Wide Photo Walk is now an annual event so maybe next year we'll organise a PE walk on the day.

It was the Durban one which featured the point areas derelict buildings close to uShaka. All i have to say is wow.. I didnt even know some of these now heritage sites existed. Real eye opener, plus the folks on the walk were super helpful and were awesome at teaching us how to use our gear. What a great weekend for Durbz, photowalk, film festival, great weather..
