Most of us have seen some of these pictures before but I thought it was great having them in one place along with more detail if clicked on.

Yeah, so true... you have to ponder (but perhaps we shouldn't as this is off topic and not philosophical debates! ) whether this stems from the consumers desire to only see misfortune in the press or whether it is the press' desire to only cover bad news stories? I suppose it must be the former as the press merely panders to the demands of the buying public... sad really!

I clicked the link with a level of uncertainty since you, no offense, tend to ruffle my feathers now and then.
I have seen the majority of these, but it's nice to have a collection with them all together.
It's strange how something so sad can be so beautiful at the same time.

Flip - those are some good photos, sort of reminded me of what had happened in South Africa couple of decade ago.

In remembrance of Ken Oosterbroek, I will share what I think changed some of south Africa

Good deeds don't need to change the world, as it's right already. Happiness doesn't sell well, so you won't see many pictures of it.

The way one moment in time can tell an entire story - it goes to show that video will never be able to replace photography.
