For those who shoot models where do you usually do it besides studios and homes etc.? I know some people like to use the beach and similar places but nothing like that nearby. Is it easy to gain access to places like stadiums when nothing is going on there?

Sure but doing a whole shoot in the street just seems like people will think it's weird. I usually only see a few casual photos done like that. Parks are an option but don't bring with them the same privacy that large fenced off areas do even if those areas are generally accessible.
I've seen the stadiums themselves and their buildings provide good backgrounds and also props you can use but there's also usually some nice trees around them that can look like a forest setting. I'm thinking more the smaller town stadiums and sport fields that you find all around and not the big ones like Loftus. I know some buildings and malls provide roof access but that usually looks a bit artificial.
