Photoshop experts

Am no expert, but photoshop works in "layers" so if fence & animal can be sepearated into two distinct layers, then very possible to erase fence from photo.

1. use the magic wand to select the pixels
2. feather / expand your selection so the edges are included in the selection
3. use the content aware fill or the patch tool to fill in.
4. finish the rest off with the clone tool.

That is in PS 5 and up only, and you are no fun.

Anything is possible with that program, just search for tutorials

IS it true that with some cameras you can remove the fence before taking the photo?

yes, the technology exists. it's called : knowing how to take a photograph and/or get to a spot where there is no fence (?)

Maybe with your cheap camera. Proper cameras have fence removal settings.

Yeah, after the latest firmware upgrade on my K-30, I see there is now a "Fence Removal" entry on the menu. Can even use HDR & Fence Removal together.
