US based eCommerce company looking for a junior developer in Durban or Johannesburg area with solid knowledge in PHP, MySQL, JS etc. Any experience with Magento or Ruby on Rails would be a major bonus.
Applicant must be dedicated, self-disciplined and driven, have a creative mind and good communication skills. Our development team is spread across a few continents, so the applicant must be able to work remotely and complete tasks/projects on-time and without full-time supervision.

- Proficient in PHP, MySQL and HTML: all very NB
- Ability to code W3C
- Javascript skills
- CSS and XHTML/CSS
- Excellent understanding of server-side programming.
- Have experience debugging code and problem solving
- Front-end development including jQuery
- Understanding of Ajax
- Knowledge of the Linux command line
- Apache, Memcached skills
- Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal
- Mobile Web experience a bonus
- Java Skills
- Magento experience would be a major bonus
- Ruby on Rails experience would be a major bonus
