Hey All,

Seeing as my last thread was so helpful, wanted to ask another question :)

How did you and your partner decide on a name for your little ones?

My SO and I are not agreeing names at all :p I know it is very early to even look at names as we don't even know the sex as yet, I am excited though! :p

TIA!

From a PC game ;)
(Didnt reveal the above source until the name already stuck) :D

Just let the wife choose. That's what I did with our firstborn. The second one we fought about and eventually I budged as long as she had my second-name. :)

First time I heard the name and I love it. I've just picked names for my many children that may or may not come. I have a few other favourite names but nothing too extreme. Boy - Madeon/Damian. Girl - Addison/Khalistra/Calista (Jessica was an option before one entered the picture)

I just want to avoid something common :p

Oh god. It's because of not wanting to be common that my sister and cousins have the weirdest names for their kids. My cousin's son born earlier this month is Jaehquine. Isn't that the Faceless Man from ASOIAF?

Lol that bad huh?

Just breaking your balls :)

Whether a name is common or not isn't that important, right? That line of thinking is how you end with celebrity kid names :p

In all honesty, just give the kid something functional that won't get him \ her teased too much.

No no, I am not naming my kid something that bad :p

Will be a normal respectable name, just not one heard everyday.
