Picking the right netbook

I imported an MSI Wind from the US for about R1 500 less than it costs in SA. I have to say that it is an amazing little piece of hardware. It was also rated as Wired magazines top gadget of 08 - above the iPhone and everything else.

Bought an Asus EEE 1000HD here in the states on my trip. Coolest little thing ever. And it only set me back R3500. Haven't even seen one of these back home, and the black is so much better as well :)

Fujitsu Siemens has the 8.9 inch Amilo Mini Ui3520 with Intel Atom 1.6GHz Processor (N270). Saw it in the Makro ad for R4999.

Specs:
1GB RAM
60GB Hard Drive
1.3 Megapixel webcam
4-in-1 card reader
Xpress card slot
1 year collect and return direct from customers premises warranty

I got the Lenovo S10, 80g HD and I upgraded RAM from 1 to 2g. Nice book. But if I can choose again I will go for the Samsung NC 10, all rounder with attention to detail!

I'm happy with my Acer Aspire One (LINUX SSD version). Saw the HP and Toshibia and not impressed.

MSI Wind seems the best value and would have bought it if I had the cash - mine is on contract.

Either way the Netbook is awesome as I can sit in bed and red my ebooks comfortably.
