Even a pie filled with gold isn't worth a trip to East London but if you are making the trip buy a couple. It might take S&R some time to rescue you from their potholes.

EC seems to be very dangerous right now, But once i am rich enough to afford private security i will take a drive down to experience these pies. Never had a proper homemade pie before.

Happily I am spoiled with Grabouw/Elgin pies. I don't know where those people learned to make pies, but they can. More and more places in Cape Town are starting to stock their pies.
