ping says 800+

I get 285 ping when I insert my MTN simcard

So what is the reason for Vodacom's high ping?
 
what signal were you getting with Vodacom, you might be on Edge,

the ping will differ between , gprs, edge, 3g and hsdpa.

the faster the connection, the lower the ping

but MTN is better any way:)

I used that gingges' application to detect my signal and it was at 70%

I seem to be getting relatively better pings from central europe and america. But places like London/Moscow/Hong Kong are insane. I have added my results to the topic for others to see.
