I'd like to know what you guys average ping time is to www.google.com ?

Mine is

Pinging www.l.google.com [66.249.85.99] with 32 bytes of data:

The bad thing about it is I ran the diagnostics @ pcpitstop.com and it says that it is typical for a dialup connection. So am I being screwed by telscum on a 512k line, or what's up ?

Thanks Afrikane, it's really disheartening if a yank site tells you your DSL ping time is dialup speed ;)
 
Well if you are on IS, I think those pings are pretty normal.

Not totally shure, im shure people on IS will be able to tell you. IS is also rather dependent on the time of day.

Thanks kilos and others, I can sum it up that our DSL in South Africa is the same worth as dialup then :D, joking, but I would love to have a ping time in the 100ms' zone.
