Five Somali pirates who released a Saudi supertanker may have drowned with their share of a reported $3m ransom - as another vessel was freed.
Pirate Daud Nure said a boat with eight people on board overturned in a storm after dozens of hijackers left the Sirius Star.
The supertanker, and its $100m cargo, had been held for two-months in the Gulf of Aden before a ransom - thought to be worth £1.98m - was paid.
Mr Nure said only three people from the capsized boat reached the shore after swimming for several hours.
