Orlando Pirates defender, Rooi Mahamutsa, was involved in a car accident in Johannesburg on Wednesday morning.

According to the Soccer-Laduma website, it’s not clear at this stage how it happened, but Pirates PRO Mickey Modisane told the crew that it had to do with the slippery roads in Johannesburg.

“As you know, it’s raining in Jozi, so the roads are slippery. The information we have is sketchy, but there’s a mention of a taxi,” Modisane told the crew.

“What’s important is that Rooi didn’t suffer any injuries in the accident. He was taken to the doctor and he is fine,” concluded Modisane.
