Yeah get one from RS. They're pretty quick and you can order it with NOOBS on an SD card ready to go. They'll deliver to you down there

Couple of sanity checks:
1. Contact numbers both cellular numbers
2. Street address points to a location with vacant land and a Total Garage. https://goo.gl/maps/QZRWuchhWyK2
3. No VAT registration number
4. No company registration number
Aka, no way of getting to the owners if they run away with your money...
Maybe contact and find out if you can see the hardware and buy in person, etc.

Can't comment on that site but have used Pifactory.co.za to purchase a few RPis - they are based in northriding/kya Sands
They chose a fairly niche market with low value items if they're scammers, so it might be ok to test them with something cheaper first. But with such shaky contact details, they have made it difficult to trust them.
They are efficient at the ordering and shipping part, definitely. The delivery company they partnered with in Cape Town left a LOT to be desired, though. (No notification that the part was in the Western Cape for days - which I would have been happy to drive and collect; claiming they deliver over weekends and that the delivery is scheduled for a certain time, only to be disappointed).
Basically, ask if they're still using FastWay, and if so, ask if they can use an alternative courier (since their tracking doesn't really mean anything; had the parcel collected for dispatch and returned at the end of the day multiple times).
Why not just use RS components as suggested?Ill test them out with something cheap,Thanks for the reply's

I am one of the founding members of PiShop but feel free to check my facts and formulate an educated opinion.
Yes, RS is an official distributor (RS and Element14 are licensed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation to sell the RPI world wide and only RS has an office in RSA) we often make use of them but mainly import from the UK, USA and China but RS can take a long time to deliver especially when they need to wait for stock from the UK, they also tend to focus more toward bulk sales.
PiShop is a registered company, a quick search of the CIPRO website will lead you to PiShop PTY LTD (registered this year) and has been running since 2014 and have recently delivered order 1025 as well as many via Takealot and BidorBuy.
The Contact Numbers are for our Office (087 702 2764) and my cell number (076 297 9341) for those late night RPI questions you might have.
The Total Filling Station from where we operate (we make use of an office on the premises) is owned by one of our founders (why rent a big fancy warehouse when you already own land?) We do also offer collection services on site for you to see and touch the hardware before you buy but, for convenience we ship anywhere in South Africa for a flat R100
No we do not yet have a VAT number because we still fall within the Legal limit to not need one, this is something will will certainly look at in the new year.
PiShop is also cheaper than RS (RS excludes VAT) to they sell a RPI 2 Model B for R591 where we are R590, I know R1 never makes a difference but its only 1 of the many products that you wont find cheaper in SA.
Give us a try, you wont be disappointed.

We unfortunately dont have stock of the Pi Zero yet but do expect it to arrive in mid Jan, you can expect to pay approx R150... as for the rest of our site, it conveniently shows the qty of stock we have on each product page (we actually hold stock in our warehouse and ship the order directly, so you don't need to wait for ages for things to reach SA and then clear customs before you get them)

While I certainly won't knock any of our compeditors, I think you'll find it challenging to find the Zero anywhere at the moment, and you certainly won't find it as law as R150.
But, in the event that you do, let's chat: we started PiShop to offer some value to the market in SA through great knowledgeable service that we thought most of our competitors lacked... If we are financially able to offer somethig cheaper we certainly will (this is precisely why we offer bulk discounts for large orders)
