Plan to drop charges against Gordhan

Abrahams & Company needs to be fired and prosecuted.

Hopefully this will expose those pulling Abrahams strings and they also fall.
 
No kidding. We all know they have no case and this was just a threat from no1.

A good advocate could make and win a case of treason IMO.
 
I was actually quite looking forward to what came out in the court case... But yet another bloody nose for Zuma, even his desperate flails aren't landing

Yeah, I don't see it happening, exactly for that reason, but, you really can't argue that Sean's circus show (or Jacob's one in December), seriously harmed the country. Billions were lost, and if we're downgraded this December, you could draw a straight line back through those two events as major contributors.
A citizen seriously injuring his parent nation is one of aspects that contribute to the definition of treason. They're both guilty.

I've said it before, "State Capture", which focuses on looting coffers, misses the fact that a democratic state has been captured or subverted by an elite... That's a coup d'etat. Were through the looking glass here folks.

That's exactly what Shaun or Number 1 is worried about, they were not planning to go to court in the first place, they were just hoping to scare Pravin into resigning, he's surely made their lives very difficult by not succumbing to their intimidation tactics.

Yep. If he doesn't stick their noses in it and give them a hiding, they'll just keep coming. There literally is no other option for Jacob and his mates.

I hope he does not, I'd rather he be the bigger man and focus on doing his job, this going after each other is very counter productive and does nothing for the image of our country.

Ok criminal charges are unlikely unless someone turns rat. But someone could and maybe should sue eyebrows for damages. Except the taxpayer will end up footing the bill again! Can't win.

That last part is correct. We pay. Thing is, if my tax dollars contribute to seeing Jacob and friends in orange jump suits, sign me up right now. FUL or the HSF should have a go. They're in the game already.
 
Can't find the thred now, but someone posted a few weeks ago that all of this is one big money making scheme by the no1 puppet and his gupta handlers. Something to the effect of having lots of Dollars needing converting to Rands or needing to enter SA, each time they want to convert a chunk to Rands they create a situation in which the Randd tanks, their by getting more bang for their buck when converting $/R.
This theory makes more and more sense by the day, if you think of NeneGate where this all started, SA lost a heck load of money in a very short time after he was fired, but I'm sure there are a lot of people who also made a load of money in those few days.

And these things are all being investigated, since currency flows are being tracked.

Actually I would, I believe that Shaun knows that life goes on after Zuma and he would not want to risk what is left of his reputation, So yes I don't see Shaun cooking up something else to pin on Pravin when the current charge collapses, I don't think he is that stupid.
