This is a stupid thread. Planes don't need exercise, who would pay to build a treadmill for one?

80mph is faster in a truck than in a car because of reasons.

/Drops another question. Say you driving in a car at 101km/h and you come up behind a truck going at 100km/h and the truck has a ramp thats trailing on the road. If you drive up onto the ramp will your car shoot forward and crash into the trucks cab or will the car stop?

Hehe. Ya I saw it done on mythbusters. Looking at some of the responses in this thread I wanted to see what their reactions would be

Mythbusters "experiment" doesn't cut it in my opinion. It's very crude and doesn't make an effort to replicate real conveyor belt dynamics. Therefore, this remains "unproven" bar some small scale "experiments" done with toy planes (most of which are ridiculous in any case)

But will the plane take off? Most likely.
