Please take note that there is planned downtime for Wednesday 18 July 2007.Perfomance will be affected between 2300hrs - 0500hrs. This will affect GPRS, MMS & ATM recharges.

It's down now. It has been so for hours.

It was down yesterday too.

So is it really a 'planned shutdown' or not?

I think they got the date and time wrong, as mine was offline earlier this afternoon too. Yesterday too, and the day before that and and and . . .

What are they gonna do ndlovu_f? Upgrade capasity/ Fix whatever is making VM unusable at the moment/ Upgrade to 3G ;) / I could do on and on.

my birthday - :(

:D:D:D HAPPY BIRTHDAY DRAGONLOGOS:D:D:D

opppss... that should be make - cannot change it with Op mini

Yeah, a problem with Opera Mini. The current normal version (not the beta) doesn't even allow you to quote anyone here while the previous version did allow it. As for the Beta, it's good for reading until they improve it a bit.

Wow, everyone on VM must be offline, cause the speeds at this moment is realy F A S T !!

It's better now in downtime, Gamco test;

Your current bandwidth reading is:
38.40kbps
which means you can download at 4.8 KB/sec. from our servers.

My previous test was 7.0 kbps.

VM data improves in downtime  Maybe most people stayed away because of the scheduled downtime and then ... VM forgot to work on it? :p Fewer people online = less congestion = better speeds:D

Good Sir, I find it prudent to point out to you that you were misinformed. Your network worked perfectly during the the "scheduled downtime" while service is absolutely pathetic during "scheduled uptime". You need to jack up the person(s) that supplied you with this information. Just a thought, use it, don't use it;)

Downtime again tonight for me, For the last hour.

So i decided to flick through 'you' magazine.

Thats 3 or 4 times in one week that vm has been down. Not good.

Was dead as a Rat here too. But yesterday morning I was downloading at speeds up to 27.1KB/s!! on my VM EDGE connection :D , that is Kilo Bytes per second yea

Hi sky.akash

The network does not always go down when we do a downtime. Only in certain instances do we experience problems. That is the reason why we advise you in case we have problems during and after the process. Thank you for the contribution,
