I hope you Okes do not even think about going to the beach this summer
The 4th or 5th wave is coming and they're gonna ban booze and beaches again

Buy booze and keep on buying until December.

By that time the booze ban will be in place again and you can swop alcohol for accommodation...

Given that the ANC government response to the pandemic can only be stricter lockdown regulations as infections rise, would it be unreasonable to assume that the ANC will again close beaches & 100m restrictions around water bodies, come December 2021?

Who wants to go to the beach in December even during a normal year.

We are just winging it this year and will go camping again in some small forgotten place. Was so nice in January for my birthday as everybody was chillaxed and applying social distancing. Cops were only busting balls for swimers who interfered with their fishing.

Having lost two friends and two neighbours to C19, I'm all for restrictions as I also get weekly updates from an epidemiologist on the seriousness of C19.

I just would not make plans to travel overseas or any big local touristy place. Going to be another year I'm putting my Europe trip on hold.

Maybe because it's winter?
Ah yes, quite right.
Although the beach close to my folks place down in Durban was proper jumping a few weeks back; to be honest I far prefer Durban beaches over winter than summer. But ja, they would be much busier in summer.

It's very important where you go, if you go to the beach in December.
Sorry to hear about the folks who passed. Their blood is on the hands of the CCP.
